About Us

The Lee Unlimited, Inc. construction company was founded in June 1988.

However, in 1999, the Dupree, South Dakota business was on its way to becoming a global entity after Clint Birkeland, head of Research & Development, invented the Power Bench.

Clint grew up around construction and farming and worked on large production jobs in both residential and commercial work. The first Power Bench® was designed and built by Clint. After the first Power Bench, Clint realized how useful it could be and began spreading the word.

In 2000, Lee Unlimited, Inc. began manufacturing and selling the Power Bench. In 2004, the northwestern South Dakota company increased its manufacturing space and added an automated saw to operations. The business continues to grow.
